So many dogs love visiting beaches to pound the sand in the chase of balls, stones, or seagulls. The fresh air, the space to charge wildly around, meet other fellow beasts and launch into the waves is something to behold. The issue is always people, particularly in the summer holiday periods. Naturally, many beaches prohibit dogs at these times of the year. We are building an information-rich resource for dog walkers to enjoy our UK's beaches.
1. Torbay Beaches (there are a lot)
Torbay (Torquay, Paignton & Brixham) is recognized as having some of the best beaches for families in the UK. With shallow seas and entry, sheltered bays and coves, and a great deal of sand (at low tides), many are also great for dogs!
