When you pull up to this delightful home, the grand porte cochère sets the tone for magnificence. You'll be amazed at the magnificent great room with cathedral ceilings and a double-sided fireplace. As well as the adjacent dining room, there is also a large kitchen island and breakfast table for additional seating for meals.

There are a number of riverside locations to take your dog for a walk and to enjoy the ambience of the locale. We would advise taking a car however as all are within 10 miles, but this is the USA of big spaces!
Little Beach Park has fishing & boating, and as a riverside park offers a playground, picnic areas & an amphitheatre. It is just over 9 miles by car, but roads are not too busy.
Eagle River Park is further away (just over 20 miles) and has river rapids, where kayakers test their metal. Its also a great picnic stop on the I-70. It has restrooms, picnic tables, adequate parking for RV's and is a great place to walk your dog!
If you want to socialise your dog (make sure he or she is sociable to start with then visit this park. It is 6 miles or 15 mins away by car.
Dog parks are located in mountainous rural areas of natural beauty called Wildridge, where the dog park is located. It is strictly prohibited to park anywhere other than designated areas. A stunning mountain backdrop surrounds this dog park in the countryside. Dog owners can observe their dogs from picnic tables with benches while contemplating their picturesque surroundings. When the park gets snowed over in winter, it only adds to its charm. The dog park has a rustic-style fence made of split trunk timber and covered with wire mesh to ensure everyone's safety.

Generally considered a challenging route, the Beaver Lake Trail takes an average of 3 h 35 min to complete. This is a very popular area for hiking and trail running, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. The best times to visit this trail are June through October. Dogs are welcome, but please keep them on a leash.

If you and your best canine buddy plan on camping overnight in this "Holy Cross Wilderness" it is required to self-register at
the wilderness boundary and to carry a copy of the registration with them during their visit.
