“Blade Runner” dog

Just over a year after he was maimed for gnawing on someone’s shoes, he was whisked to a vet to have his forelimbs amputated. With help from a prosthetic expert, Bendt Soderberg, in Phuket, Cola was given a new lease of life with ‘blade runner' prosthetic legs.

Cola is now the pet of the owner of the Soi Dog Foundation in Thailand that undertakes fantastic work to halt the dog meat trade.  They also reduce the number of stray dogs through a comprehensive neutering program and rehoming hundreds of dogs to people around the world.
